VINNYTSIA

The city dates back to the fourteenth century and is located on the Southern shores of the Buh, approximately 160 miles from Kyiv. City residents have fought of Polish opposition in the past and in the late eighteenth century the city fell to Russian rule. The city's population is around 400,000 and the city has many theatres and museums as well as a lively nightlife.
