ST.ANDREW'S CHURCH
(Ensemble of the former Bernadine Monastery and Church)

The church had always been the property of the Bernadines since 1460 and, in 1600, they began constructing a new stone temple. Paolo Romano, the architect, did not live to see the building finshed and the bell tower and sculptural facade were completed by Andreas Bemer. The interior of the temple is filled with sculptures of religious icons as well as the Saints of St.Bernadine.
