KHARKIV

In terms of the number of industrial enterprises and higher educational institutions, Kharkiv ranks the second place in the country. But Kharkiv is not only an industrial centre. It has a beautiful conservation area that occupies the territory of 26 thousand hectares with 8 parks: Botanical Gardens laid in 1805, Dendropark founded in 1809 and Shariyivsky Park -- a fine testament to landscape architecture. The only Water Museum in Ukraine is also there.
